Sourdough bread is made by the fermentation of dough using a natural leaven rather than using cultivated bakers yeast. The lactic acid produced by the lactobacilli gives it a more sour taste and big porous structure . We use in house 3 years old starter dough to leaven the bread, which is refreshed regularly and 100% French flour to make our sourdough bread . Our sourdough breads are made in the artisanal way , using long fermentation method . It takes us 3 days to make a batch of sourdough bread .This helps to develop a rich flavoured bread.
