Yule log cake, or Buche de Noel, is a traditional Christmas dessert often served near the holiday. Made out of sponge cake to resemble a miniature Yule log, it is a form of sweet roulade. Our version of the Yule log cake is made with a chocolate roll cake sponge, covered with caramel spread, and filled with mascarpone chantilly and chocolate mousse. It is decorated with fondant miniature Christmas decorations and placed over a chocolate sable base.
